SolutionSet is the second largest independent marketing services company, providing business solutions via digital, data management and analytics, direct and local marketing. We plan, create and deliver integrated communications and technology programs to build brands while driving transactions for clients, including adidas, AT&T, Dell, eBay, TXUE, OfficeDepot and Stanford University. Our Digital unit blends creative and technology to deliver solutions across digital branding and marketing, websites, e-commerce, web applications, social business, and mobile.

AN INSATIABLE THIRST
You can’t get enough social media, emerging platforms, marketing trends, brands, mobile and other gadgets, Internet celebs and beta invites. You’d stay on top of it even if we didn’t pay you (but we will).
A NOSE FOR GOLD (AND THE WILL TO DIG)
You love to dig and you don’t stop until you hit gold! You can conduct rigorous brand, audience, competitor or market research and tease out the story in the data to help our clients reach their audiences.
A KNACK FOR SOLVING GNARLY CHALLENGES
You love a challenge that seemingly can’t be solved. You use your social media/digital expertise, your Spidey sense, and a bit of help from your team to deliver smart, executable solutions.
A SPIDEY SENSE
You must have one. And we’re hoping it’s a super power or sixth sense for qualitative research, brand strategy, writing, social media, analytics, or content strategy. Be ready to share it during your interview!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
→ Lead discovery and research at early stage in our projects: conduct stakeholder interviews, research, review materials
→ Uncover and share insights with team: Conduct brand, social media and marketing ecosystem audits, write strategy briefs and other deliverables to guide and inform development processes and deliver solutions
→ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders: Work closely with UX, visual design, project and account management, engineering, and client teams to understand client needs and project requirements
→ Facilitate and inspire: Lead ideation and concepting sessions to draw out fresh ideas from a variety of people. Inject smart thinking and make recommendations to make our work more innovative and effective
→ Deliver: Develop professional documents that clearly communicate the team’s thinking and provide clients a roadmap/handbook to success
→ Stay fresh: Stay on top of what’s happening in social media, digital marketing, technology, consumer trends, pop culture, and brands, and never stop experimenting
→ Work hard: Big ideas suck if you can’t execute on them, so be ready to work hard, helping with pitches, developing content, concepting, researching, monitoring trends—whatever it takes.
WHAT GETS YOU ON THE SHORTLIST
→ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
→ 2-4 years or more of relevant experience
→ A college degree
→ A passion for social media and all things digital as evidenced by your work and your own digital footprint
→ Can manage tight deadlines and high expectations (with grace)
→ Enthusiasm for working with teams of talented designers, writers, engineers, and others
→ Proficiency with Powerpoint and Word/Pages and Keynote
→ Deep understanding of web technologies, social media
→ Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail
→ A Spidey-sense we can use
