Just over 5 years ago, the Blackberry exemplified design simplicity, and touch-screen devices were rare. Now it’s hard to remember a time when the products we used to organize a digital music library or send a quick message were difficult to use.
While experiences for consumer products have improved significantly, the tools we use at work remain largely unimproved. Generally, these tools are just difficult to use and their interfaces are littered with cryptic or technical terms. For designers and content strategists alike, there’s a lot of opportunity here to create rewarding experiences for business tools.
