Students! Want to go to Confab? Don't miss the Facebook fellowship

Howdy! You may have heard of Facebook's Content Strategy Fellowship elsewhere, but if not, don't miss your chance to apply.

Facebook Content Strategy Fellowship – Applications due March 29
Students can learn more and apply at our careers website: http://www.facebook.com/careers/contentstrategyfellowship

Three fellowship winners will receive:

  • A full conference pass to Confab Minneapolis (June 3-5), an event that draws leaders in content strategy, web/mobile journalism and online publishing
  • All-expenses paid travel (flight, hotel and stipend)
  • A private reception to introduce fellowship winners to content leaders from around the world—a great chance to meet potential mentors and contacts
  • The opportunity to apply for a paid 12-week internship with the Facebook Content Strategy team in Menlo Park, California

Background
We've found that many of today's content strategists come into the field only after years of wandering through related disciplines like journalism, editorial strategy, information architecture or design. We dreamed up this fellowship as a way to help juniors, seniors and graduate students discover content strategy before they kick off their careers.

Eligibility
Current juniors and seniors who are majoring in English, communications, journalism, information design, and other related fields may apply.

(Non-students: you should go to Confab if you can, but Facebook isn't paying for it.)
