I wanted to attend so much but couldn't. In a nut shell, my friends mom died that is the reason I could not be there.

The events of the storm taught me much about family. Some people have a 'Father Knows Best' type family. I, on the other hand, have the extreme opposite kind. I learned a lot about the human spirit, community, help, reaching out and the list goes on. As a jaded New Yorker, I became a little less so, and more willing to help someone I didn't know. I shocked myself one day!

Hope you can join us to share thoughts, feelings, and learnings! Please note that these Conversations draw participants from other networks than Meet-Up, so the MU registration represents only a part of the expected attendance.
