Another teaching and learning experience, Sauce and Wine! Two cornerstones of cooking. Yum!
Anything goes, but the sauce must be prominent. Oooo... the options are incredible! Savory or sweet, thick or thin, smooth or chunky? Spicy or delicate? Breakfast, lunch, or dinner? Dessert? Pasta, protein, veggies?
And the wine pairing opportunities. My, oh, my... decadence!
Let's keep pairing up. With only 16 folks, 8 dishes and 8 bottles of wine seem just about right. A week before, or when we hit 16, I'll do the people paring and you can work out what you'll bring.
Be prepared to talk a bit about what you brought. That's the learning part ;-)
Like the other events in this series, this one takes some coordination and prep work. Please do not RSVP and then cancel at the last minute :-) If you aren't really sure you can make it, please leave the spot open for someone else. We'll do more!
