What is your earliest cooking memory OR what is your favorite memory of learning to cook?

I started cooking in about 3rd grade...to earn my Girl Scout cooking badge. I remember what I made...pork chops. My mother chose it. I always hated pork chops, but at least it was the catalyst for a life long love of cooking.

What foods/dishes would you like to see included in a cook-off?

Some gluten-free and/or dairy free versions of classics. Healthy veggie dishes, too.

What cooking skills are you looking to improve upon? What food-related topic do you want to learn more about?

Cocktail making...especially with unique flavors like basil and other herbs. Easy cheese making. Made ricotta last week, for the first time, and it was aaaamazing and oh so easy!
