Thai cuisine is one of the healthiest and tastiest foods you can eat. In fact, several Thai dishes, such as Tom Yum Soup, are currently under scientific study for their incredible health benefits. It's already known that many of the fresh herbs and spices used in Thai cooking - such as turmeric, galangal, coriander, lemongrass, and fresh chillies - have immune-boosting and disease-fighting power. Find out more about these and other ingredients, what you need to build a Thai pantry and, ofcourse, how to make the "dishes".
For this meetup one of our newest members, Samantha, is graciously opening up her kitchen for this event, I will be teaching. We will prepare 3 courses (maybe 4 .. still working on the menu) paired with wine. I will up date this once the menu has come together. Samantha is located about 6 or so miles north of Pickens. Directions will be emailed when you RSVP.
We are charging a small fee to cover the cost of the event, this covers the cost of food and wine which we all will enjoy!! While this is a "class" it also will be a meal. I have the cost at $10 right now but this may be a little more (or less), I don't see it going over $15. Also if you have RSVP ed and have not canceled 4 days prior to the event you will still be responsible for the cost of the event. (unless ofcourse you are sick).
