The Swingin' Door (formerly the Prince of Wales Pub) has always been a serious dive and still keeps its low standing despite the addition of a renovated upstairs show area. Besides being a reader-voted favorite for burgers and night life, it has the only "audience-grabbing 'dueling pianos'” show anywhere around and whether or not you've experienced the good-natured musical abuse served in these shows--with willing audience participation--you'll want to see this one!

FOOD FIRST, THEN FUN! The show is upstairs at 9pm, but we'll start with killer, unique South Indian (vegetarian!) food @ ANAPOORNA two blocks away. Here's their PDF menu. We'll go to the Swingin' Door's upstairs bar by 8.30p.

BTW, if *I'm* eating vegetarian you know it's good, but if you think you'll have a carnivorous craving, you can have "dessert" at Swingin' Door's downstairs grill.
