Mack's (Best BBQ in the Bay) & Cool Clooneys Pub



Mack's Smoked BBQ is probably the best BBQ in the Bay Area, (certainly on the Peninsula) which is quite an accomplishment for being in business since only December 2008. Jason and Vickie have a great thing going that literally has lines out the door for lunch and dinner and have gained a reputation for stuffing the public with amazing 'que for about 65% of the price of other smoke joints. And they're incredibly nice folks, to boot.


New to their full menu is the sausage of the day, usually either awesome house-smoked hot links or linguisa. You get this #2 combo for $9, which is CHEAP for BBQ:

Last time 25+ of us descended on Clooneys Pub, we all agreed it was a blast! We'll visit there after breaking in Mack's big new patio area (pictures soon) and new beer & wine license, 'cuz we've gotta eventually move the party those short three blocks away. So what!! Clooneys is filled with a full bar, cool jukebox, plenty of beers on tap, a patio, pool table, a well-mixed crowd by about 9pm and it's FUN!!
