‘Stayin’ Alive’ will be a fun interactive walk celebrating World Mental Health day and exploring the idea of hope, through talks, discussion, performance and art. As we walk the 4.8 miles to the South Bank together we will share what inspires us and makes life worth living!
The Largactyl Shuffle run monthly stigma-busting cultural walks using art, exercise, humour and history to bring people together to explore London in a creative way.
The walk will take us through the historic streets of Southwark, ending with a reception, refreshments and other surprises at the Royal Festival Hall.
All the money raised by the event will enable CoolTan Arts to continue to supporting people with mental distress, through creative arts workshops, and self-advocacy training - something much needed in the current climate of cuts to services.
We need your support on the day so please come along, bring a team, get sponsored, but most of all join us and and make a noise!
Taking part in the walk costs £5 unwaged and £10 waged. Pre register online here if you would like to get sponsored for taking part. Otherwise just turn up on the day!
Share your own ideas on Hope: links, art, music and pictures with others in the run-up to the walk on CoolTan Arts Hope Wall.
