How to Manage Your Anxiety Part 1 with Tara Logan-Shand (Free Workshop)

How to Manage Your Anxiety Part 1 | 24th July | 2pm - 4pm

Anxiety affects all of us, some more than others. It can help motivate us to work harder or take action and protect ourselves. In its worst form it can affect our relationships, our jobs and our physical health. The first session in this two part course shows us how to identify anxiety, own it and combat it!

About Tara Logan-Shand

Tara is CoolTan Arts new Self Advocacy Trainer. Feisty and compassionate, she comes from an illustration background and uses visual aids in her training sessions, where she discusses her own personal experience with living with a mental health diagnosis, focusing on how to control the symptoms rather than them controlling you! Tara has also worked with housing support at Mind in Brent where she supported people living with mental distress to gain independence and control of their lives. She believes in the power of creativity and art assisting mental wellbeing

Tara feels that being able to be open and free of the fear of judgement is important in dealing with subjects regarding mental wellbeing, so there will be space for discussion during the session.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
