What would you like to learn in the CoopWorkshop?

I'm interested in the potential of co-ops e.g. to support fulfilling work under more equitable conditions that draws on the knowledge and skills of all workers. Having heard about Coops overseas such as Mondragon and the Evergreen co-ops in the US, I'm interested in how this process could work here in Melbourne.

What would you like to contribute to the CoopWorkshop?

Not sure yet, but certainly happy to advise about urban planning in relation to co-ops (e.g. housing co-ops). May also be able to contribute some ideas about using software in coop enterprises if relevant.

I'm currently doing a PhD at Melb Uni focused around open source software for public transport planning. Live in Brunswick.
