A group of creative writers who publish their work in a cooperative. We meet upstairs in Spoon (opposite the Festival Theatre in Nicholson St, Edinburgh). our next meeting is on the 10th Jan to discuss in whatever way seems productive to develop the work of any writers who bring along their work, their troubles, or their ideas.
We are a publishing cooperative, producing the best of author's work in printed and online anthologies, with any profits being returned to the authors, editors, and administrators.
We don't want any of your copy rights, all authors retain their rights.
If you submit to an anthology you give a non exclusive right to publish your work, which means you can also publish it elsewhere, and you retain copyright.
We do not use whole submitted pieces for publicity or marketing, your submitted piece of work will not be placed in the public domain.
We have an online community, a members only forum where authors can read and review each others work. There is no link to the community forum on this site, it is open only to authors who submit their work for publication. This is to protect the rights of the authors.
We have launched our first book project, a collection of poems and short stories about Edinburgh.
Full details are on the discussion board.
