A very warm welcome to the Copenhagen Theatre Circle (CTC) Meetup Group! The CTC is an English-language amateur theatre company that has been performing high-quality theatre in Copenhagen for 45 years. We usually put on three full-scale shows each year, in the spring, autumn and winter (the winter production being a British pantomime). We hold open auditions for our shows, which means that anyone is free to audition. Apart from actors, our membership includes directors, stage managers, designers, technicians, costume people, set builders, PR people and a myriad of others who make our shows work.

We also run events every month. Currently we offer play readings, improv workshops and what we call “Poetry & Pints” evenings, which are social get-togethers at the Red Lion pub in the centre of Copenhagen. You can find more about where and when these events occur on the calendar on our website. Come along and join in, check us out and see whether the CTC is something for you!

Besides all this, we encourage our members to be creative and come with their own project proposals. These can take any form as long as it has something to do with the performing arts. So, for example, if you’re burning to perform that play you’ve just written, put together a project and we’ll most likely support you! Don't be shy! Come along and have some fun. You'll meet great people and who knows, you might just find yourself under the bright lights one day ...
