CONSCIOUS CAREER: The Path to Jobs & Consulting Gigs with GOOD Companies

The Path to Top Jobs & Consulting Work with GENUINELY GOOD Companies

…are you longing to do work that is more meaningful to you but don’t know how to change fields without taking a major hit to your standard of living?   …are you ready to be part of an employee culture where individual dreams take their place alongside company mission but don’t know where to look or how to promote yourself? …have you already changed jobs in an effort to work for a more values-based company only to find you got out of the frying pan and into the fire, falling for a good HR marketing pitch but not finding the goods to back it up in the workplace?   …are you a leader or manager looking for ways to create healthier employee engagement for your values-driven staff? …are you sick and tired of being sick and tired at work but needing inspiration to even begin to imagine a change, never mind making one?   …are you talented and full of faith about good opportunities in general but afraid to make a move in a recessionary economy? …are you interested in being a free agent, consultant or entrepreneur but don’t know how to do that around your current job?

A yes to any of the above means you’ll enjoy and benefit from this dynamic presentation!

Thank you Alanna. It's truly a joy to encounter someone with such depth--such heart--speak on matters presumed mundane, yet quite integral to our humanity. I'm very grateful. S

The cheapest parking is in one of the street level lots on Seymour or Nelson (either by the Orpheum on Seymour between Robson and Smithe) or by Ceili's Irish pub on Nelson at Seymour. Probably $4-$5 for our time.

The most convenient parking is right under our building - enter the circular driveway by Starbucks and follow down the ramp to 5 levels of underground parking - knowing it will be a flat rate of $8. If you are staying later for questions (you know who you are), it's best to park here as you're good til 6am, no worrying about your car)

Getting excited about seeing you all tonight! Conscious Career is such a fun and important experience to share - I get more out of it every time. :) A couple of general reminders: Please do everything you can to be on time and text me[masked]two if you are going to be 5-10 minutes late. On time means arriving between 6:40 and 6:55.

If you are early, there is a Starbucks 5 feet from our front door - grab yourself a beverage and use their washroom if you need it.

No need for buzz codes or knocking on doors - Carissa, Pema and I will be waiting in the lobby to escort you to our event room.

It's a good idea to bring some business cards if you have them and some means of taking notes, whether iPad or notebook. You are welcome to take snapshots of the event but VIDEO AND AUDIO RECORDING ARE NOT PERMITTED. Thanks and see you tonight! - Alanna
