Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Class
These sessions are created for all stages of pregnancy. Students can practice from the 1st Trimester through the 3rd Trimester. This process continues into the Postnatal period, creating space for mothers to transition back to themselves gracefully.
Classes will give mothers the strength and stamina needed physically to deliver safely. Mothers will work on stabilizing muscles and the structure of their bodies. Yoga breathing techniques will be taught to relax the body and mind. Yoga philosophy is taught to train mothers to keep a relaxed focus and expand the connection to their baby, therefore building mindfulness and calmness to prepare for the success of labor and after. A yoga practice will bring inner peace and joy for this life changing, and rewarding transformation.
A physicians consent is required in order for students to participate in our Prenatal/Postnatal yoga class. A letter to participate can be emailed to you or given in person, for completion by your doctor before beginning class.
