I've created this meetup group for those interested in developing a yoga practice, or deepening their current practice. Whether you are a yoga enthusiast ,beginner,senior,disabled, or pregnant,yoga brings tremendous personal health benefits. Those who practice it will improve their physical strength as well as attain mental clarity.
My belief is that anyone can do yoga!
I teach a fusion of traditionalvinyasa flowand core strengthfitnessyoga for a more physical workout. These sessions build strength, and flexibility, condition the breath to remain calm, but focused, bring students to their natural weight, and create overall wellness. Class can be adapted for any shape, size and age. This practice will bring students to their healthiest self, while learning to honor their own unique pace, needs, and goals.
I also teach Chair Yoga. These classes are for those who are unable to take part in a routine yoga class setting.This form of yoga is energizing, yet restoring. Practitioners build strength, and alignment, form balance, and mobility, and detox the system. Postures are modified to accommodate those with physical ailments, and focus on individual’s needs. In this class, we will work from chairs, the wall, or use props.
Please know that Private lessons are available for children, prenatal, and yoga therapy. Especially children in need of individual care due to Cystic Fibrosis, or autoimmune disorders. Yoga is also a great way for parentsto share time with their child/children. Group lessons are also available.

Classes are held inside the actual church, surrounded by stain glass. The atmosphere adds to the peace and serenity a yoga practice can bring.
