Cork|Sec Meetup #6

This month we have two topics:

- Bob McArdle will give a overview of Maltego - the awesome OSINT tool that we touched on all the way back at CorkSec #1. I'll be doing everything from going over the basics, up to how to automate it / collaborate with others in real time / and extend it for your own needs. Oh and of course we'll be doing all sorts of interesting mapping of people and networks :) (Approx ~ 1 Hour)

- Michael Hill will be discussing some of the alternatives to passwords, and some of the technical challenges that SensiPass came up against while creating their software (Approx ~25 mins)

Seriously good group, good presentations, and a time well spent from my perspective. Looking forward to the next event!

Hi Everyone - All of the slides from the 5 meetups so far are now up on . I'm just missing Mairtins smart meter slides and will add them as soon as I have them.

In the meantime - I have one slot lined up already for CorkSec #6 (TBC very soon).

There should be time for another slot, so it would be great if you are interested in talking - just let me know (RobertMcArdle on that google email service). Any timing from lightning talk up to 1 hour is welcome. If you need some ideas:

    - The idea for your thesis in college
    - A recent security news story you found interesting
    - Some project you are working on at home / want to work on
    - Hacking Tools
    --- Metasploit
    --- NMap
    --- Social Engineering Toolkit
    --- SQL Injection
    - Software Defined Radio
    - Arduino
    - Raspberry Pi / Beaglebone / Other small devices
    - Bitcoin
