What we’re about

Hello,

We were just informed by Meetup that offering an online option, aka WebEx or Zoom is not allowed in Meetup groups.   So we are moving this meetup group to Facebook.  We believe that it is important to provide various means of participating in our presentations.

The URL is: https://www.facebook.com/devsecopsenthusiasts

Now that Korben is finished with his latest degree in Cybersecurity, we'll continue to have great DevOps meetups, but now also have some great DevSecOps meetups as well.  Looking forward to seeing you at the Nov 12th Amazon GuardDuty demonstration and at AWS re:Invent later in November.

Thank you

Do you have a passion for DevOps and automation? Cybersecurity? Development or programming? Then this is the place for you.

We are a group of Eastvale automation enthusiasts with a huge interest in cybersecurity as well as having an ability to write programs or at least sophisticated script.  We will share, teach and learn from each others experience and expertise in the fields of DevOps and DevSecOps.

If you've never heard of DevSecOps, it is an extension of DevOps, but cybersecurity-focused.

I live in Las Vegas as well as the Inland Empire so the physical locations will switch from month-to-month between Las Vegas and the Inland Empire, but every meetup will be available via Zoom online meetings to everyone.  Everyone from either group is welcome to attend at either location as well.

Let us know if Monday nights do not work for you to attend these meetups.  In our Inland Empire meetup, we used to have them on Saturday mornings, but most people have family and other activities going on.  We found it to be easier for almost everyone to meet on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday later in the evening when family activities are winding down.

Our Inland Empire group has had some really good learning sessions and presentations over the past couple of years, but taken a sabbatical for the past few months as I have been working on another Master's degree.
