We have just secured a spot for our second Corona SDK NYC meetup next Tuesday April 23 at the NYU Game Center (same place as last time). Sorry for the relatively short notice, but we are very lucky to be able to schedule this meeting space. We have the space starting at 7pm, so no need to arrive early, we'll probably get the talks started at 7:15pm.
I will do my Game Developer Conference 2013 presentation on free-to-play and ad-supported games based on everything I learned from doing Chip Chain with Corona SDK (~30 min). I'll adjust it so that its a bit more Corona focused since this is a more focused audience.
We will also have Laura Tallardy give a 20 min talk about her experiences making children's games in Corona, working with business partners, transitioning from web development to Corona, and more. You can visit her site at http://lauratallardy.com/apps/
Let me know if you are interested in giving a demo or a short talk.
If there are topics you can't speak on, but would like to see talked about, please post them here and maybe we can get someone to talk about it.
Thanks, and hope to see you on Tuesday April 23rd at 7pm!
