Introduction
Hello! I'm the CEO of RipplFX, Inc. and have been producing and developing mobile apps for the last two years. As a creative Entrepreneur, I have an Arts, Entertainment, Technology and Business Development Background.
Tell us about yourself and your work.
RipplFX is a mobile app developer and trans-media production company. RipplFX is currently producing a series of mobile apps and transmedia strategies for the publishing, education, and entertainment industries. From Concept to finish we offer services for content production and mobile app development for distribution across multiple platforms for books, games and films for children’s education and family entertainment. The RipplFX team has 30 years experience in animation, art, education, family entertainment, gaming, publishing, marketing and technology. Our team members and partners have previously worked for Adobe Flash, Autodesk, Disney, Discovery Kids, Electronic Arts, Fox Kids TV, ILM, Jim Henson, and Universal Studios. Our goal is to add quality production value creating an engaging and entertaining mobile experience.
Have you developed any iOS or Android apps? Tell us about them. And did you use Corona SDK to develop them?
Collectively the team has produced 25 apps for iOS and Android for games, storybooks, and film projects in education and entertainment using Corona SDK.
What is your level of experience with Corona SDK? Novice (just feeling my way around), intermediate (I've gotten some programs to work, maybe published an app), expert (published multiple apps), wizard (could teach seminars on mobile development).
Expert - we have published multiple apps and ongoing development in Corona. As a company we would like to Sponsor Seminars teaching Corona.
What would you like to get out of this Meetup group?
Networking and building the Corona SDK community in the North Bay.
