Special Incense Purification & Increasing Merits Practice

Wednesday, October 2, 2013

To help us receive the teachings of wisdom and compassion passed down from Shakyamuni Buddha through an unbroken oral tradition, our lama has given us the special opportunity to meet in small groups and receive a blessing from the Buddhas.  Whether you are new to Buddhism or have been practicing for years, this is a chance to receive great blessings from a very pure source.  Blessings can help us to wake up the positive aspects of our mind, turn our mind towards the wish to cultivate more and more beneficial qualities and remove more and more of the harmful habits and afflictive emotions.  All are welcome to join us!

If we have ten people or more in this meeting, we will be lighting very blessed incense that Rinpoche blessed during a special meditation practice, a very precious meditation that is the essence of our Lineage Teachings that come from Manjushri Bodhisattva. This only comes from our Lineage.

This incense as a very special blessing that can remove obstacles, purify the mind and body, and help the positive merit, and positive power and ability of the mind to increase.

This practice will only happen a few times, so don't miss your chance! It will be a great benefit to you, your family and your life!

"Shakyamuni Buddha gave us the most profound Dharma teachings. His teaching has the power to help all beings be free from the problems of suffering. So we say the teachings are the treasure of all beings.  Through these methods you can learn to recognize your true situation, receive the logic training, and generate many virtue assets. It's like when you are sick and receive help from a doctor, and take the medicine, and you actually get better. Through this process, your internal and external obstacles are reduced, your logic is transformed, and the value of your life - - your real asset - - gets more and more profound. " - Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche

The goal of our study groups is to learn to embody the pure teachings of Buddha, and to put them into practice in our daily life. Through this process, many benefits to one’s mind and body become evident. As one is able to cultivate a pure mind and heart, the wish we all have to be of real benefit to others becomes possible.  Our groups are continuous; all are welcome to join at any point.  We are fortunate to receive guidance for our study and contemplations from Namang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche, the 68th lineage holder of Naga Vara Raja Lineage, a Mahayana / Vajrajaya lineage.

“In cultivating the pure qualities of the mind, what is most important is sincerity of mind and diligence in practice”  - Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
