MomoCon 2010 - The largest fan convention in North America, with anime, gaming, comics, scifi, costuming, and more!

If you have not already registered for the free tickets (no more available) you can still pre-register online and get a donor badge for a little as $15 and you can pre-order T-shirts for $10.
Online registration ends this weekend March 7th (to allow time for your badge to be mailed to you) and the web sites says there will be a limited number of "Pay at the door" available. So if you want to attend and haven't registered yet you should order your tickets before March 7th.

Based on the number of people who RSVP that they are going we can set up an meeting place at the event if interested.

There are some special Costuming events/tracks such as:

Japan Street Fashion
An informational panel covering popular Japanese street fashions in recent years including Gothic and Lolita and Boystyle, Visual Kei, Decora, Manba and many more (Various gyaru styles, Spank! and well as the new "Fairy Kei"). Models as well as a slideshow will be used to illustrate the various styles, as well as relaying information about where to buy the clothes and a Q&A.

Translating Art into Cosplay
Learn some tricks and techniques in how to turn two dimensional drawings from anime, manga, and artbooks into functional three dimensional costumes. We will discuss how to embellish costumes from artwork when the entire outfit is not displayed. Finally we will give real life examples and show how we took art and turned it into reality.
