Kick n Swim (Street Soccer, then Pool & Hot Tub) (NOTE NEW TIME)

Repeat at BC's apartment complex. They have a VERY nice Street Soccer facility, and a swimming pool/Hot-Tub right next door for Post-Game! Bring your bathing suit! Hot tub and pool open til' 10pm.

I'm limiting RSVPs to 15, which gives us 3 teams of 5. Bring a Red shirt, white shirt, and blue shirt please.

This event is played on a tennis court like surface, so bring flat soled shoes. This court is short (25-30m long), with 3/4 size goals. You can shoot from goal to goal if you have a decent foot, but with a Futsal ball you are not likely to make it! The perimeter of the court has a 20' fence on 3-sides to minimize ball chasing. This is a TON of fun, and a different game to mix it up! I guarantee your outdoor game will improve by playing Futsal occasionally. Do NOT bring a ball that you don't want scuffed up; bring a beater-ball. We will be playing with a AYSO League supplied Futsal ball.

DIRECTIONS: There are 2 ways in (it's big), entering from Redwood Rd. or from 7000 South. We are playing at the Blue court in this satellite photo. You'd never know this was here unless you came in!

Be aware this picture is old: in this satellite photo, the soccer court is in green, but they've since swapped the playground and soccer court when they refinished them this Spring. No matter, they are both in the same complex, very close. You can see the POOL and HOT TUB just to the NNW of the soccer court/playground.

Redwood-Entry) East side of Redwood road around 6700-6800 South, directly across from Wendy's (which is on the West side of Redwood). Drive due East (straight back), then bear right (South) when you can't go straight anymore (around 100yds from Redwood). Go another 200yds, and park just prior to "storage-garages" which narrow the road to 1 lane; park anywhere on the left in a non-reserved space. Walk due West and you'll see the Soccer-Court, the pool is 50yds away but not visible.

7000 South-Entry) North Side of 7000 South, ~1650 West (just East of Redwood Rd.). Turn into South Willow Apartments, then take an immediate right (heading East), driving around the perimeter of the complex. In 200yds, the road will narrow to 1 lane as you pass by the "storage garages". After it widens again, park anywhere on the right in a non-reserved space. Walk due West and you'll see the Soccer-Court, the pool is 50yds away but not visible.
