    Hey so I can't make it to todays meeting, but I came up with a really good idea later last night. So we were thinking about providing gonorrhea testing and then using the subsequent bacteria as samples. But if we mess up, say swap some samples and we say someone doesn't have gonorrhea when they do that can lead to some serious harm and legal issues.

    So! How about instead of doing it ourselves, we partner with a free clinic that already does the std testing. This way we make sure they get an accurate test, don't assume liability, and we get the samples. Plus we work through a channel that already gets tons of samples. I would recommend the Berkeley Free Clinic because their lines are always huge. (Used to live nearby lol)

    I wouldn't mind connecting with the clinics and seeing who would be interested. Although beforehand it would be good to have a very well laid out experiment, so that way they know we're serious about doing some real citizen science. And also because even if the clinics decline, there are ot
