Data Analysis for Genomics is a free HarvardX course that begins on April 7. This group is forming to prepare for the course, study together during the course and to create hands-on genomic analysis projects during and after the course.

For the month of March, we will be installing and covering basics for the stats programming language R and BioConductor.

This group will be led by Brett Bowman, a bioinformatician at Pacific Biosciences that has led similar courses at BioCurious.

If anyone want's to get a head start on class, here are the three things you'll need for our first session:
R -
RStudio -

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
