For those of you taking 'A Beginner's Guide to Irrational Behavior', let's meet to discuss:
the Week 1 material being released March 25th, and
the Week 1 quiz due April 1.
Super fun - thanks for organizing, Sharon!
Nice meeting everyone! I'm going to watch more videos right now.
Thanks for organizing, Sharon!!
Will be heading down from Oakland with the better half who is also in the course. Still looking for a study group more in the East Bay.
Timothy,You should look at the posting from Rose Penelope Yee. She is looking for a group in the east bay.- Sharon
Can we meet at 12 pm ? I'd love to join, but 10 am on Saturday wouldn't work for me.
I can't do 12:00, but I will ask around at the meeting and see what time people want for next week. Maybe we can move it to 12 for week 2.- Sharon
If you want to have a meeting on a conference call, I would suggest to go to the fora page or the meetup page and look for one. If you don't find one, start a new study group! I'm sure there are lots of people who are looking for that.
Good luck!- Sharon
can we make a meeting on conference call,,,most of us belong to different countries, we can discuss a topic through conference call,
Might some people be interested in forming a study group in the East Bay? We have a meeting space in Oakland by Lake Merritt that we can use. Please let me or Timothy know. Thanks!
I look forward to meeting and discussing the course, (Thanks Sharon) I'm curious what others intend to get out of the class. See you soon.
Folks, I'd love to attend this one, given that a sizable number of you are. I cannot since I have a time conflict. If anyone is in the same situation as I am, I'm organizing a Sunnyvale meetup, Sun at 1 PM. Welcome suggestions for places in and around Sunnyvale.
The link for that meet-up is here.
Adam Smith: better reading than The Help, or Eat Pray Love. Who knew?
shall we plan for a meet up in ny?
Would you like a place dedicated to setting up study groups for MOOCS. Our organization, Course Pods, provides just that! In fact, will be offering tutorials based on Udacity's CS101 in Palo Alto starting in a few weeks. Sign up by March 29th.
Check out www.coursepods.org and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or know anyone who wants to teach or learn with us!
Thanks,Catherine Stevens (Course Pods Co-Founder)[masked]
Coming from Berkeley and look forward to talking about the class. I've been a fan of Dan Ariely for a few years now. Took my first behavioral economics course many years ago, such fun material!
