Come to Covent Garden Speakers (7:00 am in the morning).

If you are petrified of presenting, you will gain confidence;

If you are bamboozled by being put on the spot at meetings, you will be able to learn and practice techniques to deal with unexpected questions;

If you are getting ready for a key speech, a step up to leadership or are simply need to improve your ability to speak, lead and influence, you will get the opportunity to practice and get bags of valuable feedback.

If you simply need to get out more and mingle, you will receive a very warm welcome from all the members and guests.

We have breakfast after the meeting, unless you need to get to the office.

Toastmasters has been helping members of the public to improve their skills in speaking, listening and leadership for over 80 years. They have a honed programme which you follow at your own pace which gives you the opportunity to practice all the skills you will need. If you join the club, you will be part of an organisation of some[masked] members worldwide and will get to hear interesting speeches from people with very different backgrounds.

If does not cost to visit as a member, and you can visit as many times as you wish before deciding whether you want to join (although most people tend to join after the first meeting!)

You have nothing to lose but your fear of speaking in public!

    Hi - I've ticked yes to come BUT I work nights so I may be late in general, or if I get held-up a lot at work, I won't make it at all. Still, I hope to get along but apologies in advance if I don't. Cheers.

      Hi,

      There is no dress code. I will be at the door to greet you and show you the way. It will be fun, informative and casual :)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
