The Tale of Lord Hobo A 'prentice shared his master's fair & drink abode Till he was nigh out of his 'prenticehood, Tho he was checked and scolded early & late, 'times led, for drinkin', to Boston or New'n-Gate, But at the last his master did take thought, Upon a day, when he his ledger sought, On an old proverb wherein is found this word: "Better take bad ale from the hoard Than let it lie to spoil the good ones there." “Better open a craft ale house for all to share, “Where people can be merry year after year.” So with a drunken servant should it fare; It is less ill to let him go, apace, Than ruin all the others in the place. Now he masters his own domain, This house of ale and beer fame, Where we come this day to drink by chance, But, beware Lord Hobo will always have the last dance. So yeah! Join us for revelry and craft beer on May 8, 2010, at 5 p.m. at one of Cambridge's newest additions, Lord Hobo.
