House rules (No worries...they're EASY):

1. Profile pic/First name required. We like to see your face, it helps a lot when finding each other at events, and for re-connecting with new friends afterwards.  It's too hard to remember names...faces are easier. :)  So please upload a clear head shot where you don't look like the unabomber :)
2. Event cost $1. Why? In short admin fees and incidentals.  Meetup charges an organizer fee ($288/year), and we've also got little hosting costs like name tags, signs, etc. We run this group because we want you to have fun and practice your Spanish at the same time. It's not paying for our vacation home in Costa Rica that we don't have :) This fee does not include: Admissions costs to venues, Restaurant tabs or any other charges related to one of our events. NO REFUNDS

3.Don´t be afraid to participate and have fun: Take this opportunity to build up you Spanish skills and to learn new things. Don’t run away because someone speaks better than you. Greet everyone and, If you see someone new, don’t wait for that person to come to you, introduce yourself and make sure that he/she is the person you talk first. Smile and have fun!!
