Thank you, Katie, that's very good news! I was sooo bummed that I missed the VF group. I got to the park, but I arrived late and the group had just started off. I hollered to them, but by the time I parked and got back they were gone. I finished the hike in record time (wind sprints will do that for you!) and never caught up, unfortunately. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Bummer you were not feeling up to par! hopefully soon~! Have a blast in Ecuador. Let's talk when you get back! Take lotsa pics!

How was D.C.?

Hey Katie - it was nice to meet you yesterday. Great work at the rock - I have a feeling you'll be climbing soon enough!

U can go with no shoes! A girl from meet up met us up there Sunday, her second time outdoors, and she didn’t have climbing shoes and she made some climbs. SHOES do make it easier but it can be done! A harness is a must! One of the guys has an extra harness. U can buy each at REI, shoes and harness and return if you don’t LOVE IT! Though once u climb outdoors, most people are hooked. So they will last you many many years!

Well, You're invited to join about 6 of us on Saturday. We are climbing at Ralph Stover Park~ Gonna be nice out. Not too many weekends left to climb outdoors!
