CreateInTO Gathering v8.0

7:05pm Rick Mason will do Processing 101. Often the biggest challenge with a new language is simply getting started. Rick will show how Processing is one of the simplest tools out there to get started with.

7:35 Eugene Andruszczenko will give us a walk-through of his "arcade stick led project built using arduino and processing".

7:55 Andrew Goodwin will demo two data visualizations he's done for real world engineering projects.

8:15pm Recently released, the Hype Framework for Processing by Joshua Davis makes Processing even more approachable. Hugh Elliott will show us how to use Hype in Processing to make many common generative art type tasks much easier.

Thanks to everyone who braved the cold to come out last night. Thanks to Hugh, Andrew and Eugene for speaking. It was a great night of Processing. Stay tuned for details about January.

Still looking for people who have some Processing work they might be interested in showing on the 27th. I know you are out there, don't be shy. Even just 10mins to show off some sketches would be greatly appreciated by other members.

That would be awesome! Maybe after I'm done, I'll hand the mic over to you for a bit to talk about your project. You can use my laptop if you want to show anything on screen - or we can hook up yours if that's easier. Thanks , much appreciated!
