This group stems from the desire to draw attention to, engage meaningful and generative discussion of and put into practice a new economic structure based on authentically inspired giving and receiving and the socioeconomic valuation of care (for ourselves, others and our planet). The intention is to join in creativity and exercise what each of us is here to give through our Unique Individual and Inborn Genius.
The vision for the group thus far is to meet periodically for stimulating discussion and building camaraderie for this new paradigm, to support our related endeavors and to announce, network and share inspired giving and receiving. Our first meet-up is a playfully creative one and there will be more and varied to come!
While 'care' in our culture is often associated with women and the feminine, members of this group are from all 'walks' of life. Joining this group expresses your interest in delightful connection with others with the intention of eschewing a dominant fear-centered focus on money and co-creating love-centered, sustainable, harmonious communities in which we operate according to the currency of well-being and kindness to ourselves, each other and Earth.
For your inspiration...
"You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is THE HOUR.
And there are things to be considered...
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader."
Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said,
"This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate.
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all, ourselves - for the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over.
Gather yourselves!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
For WE ARE THE ONES WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR."

AND:
In June of last year (2011), I was moved to write the following: For months, I had Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I have a dream..." speech in my mind. Finally, I looked it up because I that felt his words were connected to and deeply supportive of my desire to give voice to my irritation about the gap in financial valuation of caregivers in our current culture and that I could stand on his shoulders. The connection started with his words: "...And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.'..."
…and I've created my own continuation of that: I have a dream that one day work and service according to each individual human being's natural, Life-given and cultivated gifts can be freely given without concern for direct compensation and without pressure to undermine well-being of one and All by overworking or overindulging.
I have a dream that each individual's needs will one day be fulfilled through cooperative and kind relationships, the material resources accessed through those relationships and through Life as a Whole--simply by asking.
I have a dream that one day all people will enjoy equally abundant resources so that, for example, a mother, a teacher, a Hospice care-giver, a son caring for his ailing and elderly parents, the owner of a multinational corporation, a movie mogul and a farmer all have equal access to Life’s plenty.
I have a dream that one day the exchange of plentiful resources and support is freely flowing within a world-wide Field of Trust to the extent to make financial structures irrelevant.
I have a dream that my loving, precious, differently-abled son will one day live in a world in which all are equally cared and provided for not based upon a level of output or productivity as judged by external standards but because of their undeniable humanity and unique value and because we all understand our interconnected well-being.
I have a dream today!!
His words: "From every mountainside, let freedom ring! Free at last! Free at last! Great (Life) Almighty, We Are Free At Last!"
