'Sup. I'm a creative type dude that's been involved in the design industry in some way shape or form since 2000. I know enough front end dev stuff to get me in trouble. I like making things make sense.

I got a notification about the group from MeetUp

As a result of our industry, we'll be adding a few beer/cocktail places to our events. Would you be comfortable with that atmosphere?

Yeah, I personally don't drink, but I don't mind the atmosphere for social events.

This is more for our members to read. Ultimately, what attracted you to the group and what are you hoping to find here?

As a creative dude who recently relocated to the Chicago area, I'm looking to get myself in tune with other creative types in the area.
