Great idea... ... ...but, as they say, '...who know where or when'?

My art class professor gave us a sheet of free days and hours to visit museums to be more affordable. But for some the days are work days. The Huntington Library has a free day the first Tu or Th or pay $20 a person on other days. I love their gardens. I look forward to meeting other artists.

No sure if anyone leads the group or how folks propose things, so I am just going to throw it out there.

Anyone up for the Hans Richter a show at Resnick Pavilion@LACMA? Chris Burden's Metropolis II is usually doing its kinetic best on the weekends. parking is not so great at LACMA, but the rest of the experience is pretty great.

Norton Simon for the art. Huntington for the grounds. Getty for the building. Hammer for the programs. Jurassic Technology for the hell of it.

How about the Huntington Library or the arboretum that I believe is near there. Also, the Los Angeles Botanical Gardens. These places are not museums, but worth visiting.

Yeah! I've been meaning to go to the Norton Simon. Is the PROOF exhibit still going on?

Anyone been to the Norton Simon in Pasadena? There looks to be a good printmaking exhibit currently running. Also the Annenberg, much smaller, has a good show called Digital Darkroom. Those are my suggestions.
