2D Artists of the Creative Collective are invited to display and sell their work at Terhune Orchards. Terhune has a roughly finished barn which is somewhat dusty and neither heated or air conditioned. Our first display there "opened" on May 4th; we plan for our next show to be hung on Sunday, June 2 between noon and 2pm.
Come prepared to help hang! Hammer and nails in hand! Terhune prefers no drilling into its walls. They are preserving the historic beams as much as possible. When possible please use existing holes to try and put a nail into.
Sales will be handled between the artist and the customer. Therefore, labels should have all the necessary contact information, in addition to the title of the piece, media and artist name.
The number of pieces per artist and size will be determined based on the number of people who are interested in display for June. Displays will be changed monthly until the weather turns in the fall - if you so desire, you can display every month - as long as you help hang and take down/move your work. Any artist who has work already there must come on Sunday, June 2 to replace them with new works. Take the currently-displayed pieces home or at least MOVE them to a new spot.
If you are interested in displaying at Terhunes for June, please send an email directly to Linda Pickering at: [masked]. Send your message (with "Terhunes" in the subject line) no later than Sunday, May 19 so I can then let you know how many pieces you can bring.
