The following is a message from the activities coordinator at Stone Bridge.
I met with our Design Committee and although they were excited to see the artwork at Terhune (which they really enjoyed!) they do not feel that Stonebridge is capable of having outside galleries showcase their works at this time. I think there is some concern in overstepping some of the artists here at Stonebridge. As you both saw when you came to view the space we currently have a “Stonebridge Resident’s Exhibit.” There are hopes that we can utilize the space in front of our art studio to make a more permanent exhibit for the resident’s however in the meantime it has been requested by the residents that we use our exhibit space by the auditorium to show our residents’ masterpieces.
At this time we will not be able to have the Ewing Art Group and Creative Collective show their work here. I really apologize about this, I thought our residents would jump at the opportunity in having new, and fresh artwork brighten the walls, but apparently I was wrong. I am going to try and work on the residents. They are drafting up a document that will outline the protocol for outside galleries to showcase their work, so as soon as they present this to me and we fine-tune the details I will be in touch and we can hopefully schedule an upcoming show!
Once again, I sincerely apologize for this. I hope we can work together in the future.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
