glass fusing and cold-working
Creative inspiration, source-sharing and collaborative friendships amongst artists.
I practice the art of glass fusing, often displaying my work on bases of casted metals and forged iron stands. Color inspires me.
It was SO nice to see some new faces who showed up for our first Creative Collective Meetup at LCC, and equally enjoyable to see some old faces from our life at the Lawrenceville Artist Network of days gone by. This was a diverse and accomplished group and another meetup is a sure thing to allow us to do some more "show and tell"...As we were leaving, I was shown a cover of the Grammys magazine designed by one of our new members, Erika !! I was totally wow-ed!!!! at the amazing cover she created...a pity you did not show it to the entire group, but there WILL be a next time, so please bring it along again !!! My hopes for The Creative Collective of Mercer County is that it will become a great "place" for us to encourage and appreciate each other's talents and art, and lead to new friendships and connections, and ultimately to some collaborative shows that we as a group can host ! Thanks to all who braved the winds and rain to join us last night !
