Abishek Reddy from Avasara Events joins us to talk about how you can “spice up” your creative event. You could be putting on an exhibition, launching a new product or organising a conference - what can you do to be a bit different and take the boredom and stuffiness out of the event?
If you're not used to putting events on it can be tempting to play safe just in case anything goes wrong! Abi will be sharing his experiences and giving advice to help us put on events which are memorable (for the right reasons!)
He'll be talking about the ways that Avasara use the Indian culture to provide something different, problems they've dealt with and how to deal with mishaps of your own. He'll also offer a top ten guide to running a successful and memorable event.
This just in! The Cutter have kindly said that Abi can bring along some samples to taste. This may include Indian cocktails. Yum!
Avasara run and plan Indian events for many different religious festivals, as well as anniversaries and family celebrations from Diwali to Eid. They also plan and manage Indian/Asian themed events for charities and other companies.
They work with people whose heritage is Indian and who want to create an authentic occasion, and people from different cultures who are after an Indian-style wedding or celebration.
