Pranyama is the practice of moving energy through the body using the breath. Mudras are hand gestures. The way we hold our hands affects our energy.
In this class taught by Ellen, a master yoga instructor, you will learn pranayama and mudra. No experience is necessary. Once you learn the technique, you can use mudras and pranayama together to practice silently, without a lot of instruction, to gain a clear and peaceful state of mind.
For class, you will be seated on the floor or in a chair, according to your preference. There will be time for you to practice with a Tibetan singing bowl. I will demonstrate, if you are not familiar. There are many youtube videos available on singing bowls for those who are not familiar.
This class will be free and introductory.
