I started this group because so many of us have forgotten the pure creative spirit that enveloped us as children. Whether it was experienced at play, drawing, painting, reading, telling stories, making up songs, building things or taking things apart!, dressing up, dancing, singing, playing an instrument, writing and most of all the forgotten art of daydreaming and fantasizing. These activities get lost in the "Everydays" of life as we grow older. For some it is lost early on while others can manage to hold on to it maybe through college. But in the end, for most of us the "Everydays" take over.
All forms of creativity serve us a purpose, the greatest purpose given to us as humans, the ability to create something from nothing. My intention for this group is to create opportunity for rediscovering the love, passion and joy we had as creative children. To rediscover the JOY of the process of creativity and release ourselves from the product.
For those of you that are parents, it's time to play alongside your children. Create, laugh, be silly, love unconditionally, dream big and by all means fantasize fantastic new worlds. Our children need us to find our passions and our joy in life so they can learn to never let it go.
I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
