CSS, SASS, LESS and other CSS things

  • Apr 24, 2014 · 7:30 PM
  • Iris Singapore

We will have a talk about CSS, CSS Preprocessors, and why they are so awesome.

As we will try and focus this meeting on CSS, if you have something that you have created with CSS, such as something using CSS animations, please feel free to show it off. Even if it's very small or unfinished it will be great to see what other people are doing in Singapore.

Also, please come along with any questions you have and the group can try and help you out :)

See you at the next Creative Coders meetup.

Sorry if this is a noob question, but what's the preferred way to style content on a html5 canvas?

    April 25, 2014

Since there's no way to annotate the content on the canvas, I think there's no standard way to do it if you work directly with the canvas API, other than just keeping your code organized. There might be more structured ways to it if use some higher level framework to render to canvas for you:

Thanks for the great talks. And again, great slides, which I'll certainly refer back to once I reach that level!

Nice meetup. Lots of cool little web design gems scattered in there. Also enjoyed the roundtable. It's a nice format for sharing, I think.
