Free tickets to: Developing a New Generation of Innovators

Developing a New Generation of Innovators
Glen Tripp in conversation with Angie Coiro

Sponsored by Scholarshare Speaks
Sunday, July 27, 2014
2:00 p.m.

Innovators have the power to improve their world in big and small ways while leading fulfilling lives. How can parents and educators give kids the tools they need to create in the modern world? Glen Tripp, Founder and CEO of Galileo Learning, will reflect on lessons learned from working with the 200,000 children who have attended Galileo’s innovation-oriented enrichment programs. Parenting strategies and possibilities for school reform will be covered.

Glen Tripp founded Galileo Learning in 2001 to develop innovators who envision and create a better world. Since then, more than 200,000 Bay Area children have enrolled in Galileo’s programs, which include Camp Galileo, Galileo Summer Quest, Chabot Space & Science Center Summer Camps, and the camps at The Tech Museum of Innovation.
