St. Paul Chapter April Meeting

Topic:  Cannabis Prohibition

Speaker:  Pat Bradley

Why is Cannabis a "Schedule One" prohibited substance and should that situation be maintained in the future of Minnesota?  Let's apply some 'critical thinking skills' to the topic of a drug's prohibition costs and consequences.

Pat Bradley is the Vice-Chair of MNNorml, the Minnesota chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.  Professionally he is a nationally recognized expert in residential video systems, and currently a principal at Display Development, Inc. manufacturer of high performance video display systems.  He was born and raised in Iowa, and received an Ag-business degree from Iowa State University at Ames.

There is a charge of $11 if you have breakfast, $3 for presentation only, which includes coffee.

The quotes from presidents who appeared as if they were promoting hemp appear to be questionable. See

Those who stood in the doorways of Southern schools in the 1960s holding axe handles to prevent Black children from entering, as are those against medical marihuana and gay marriage, were, and are, trying to hold back ocean tides with push-brooms. it's coming - get over it!
