St. Paul Critical Thinking Club February Meeting

The focus of this presentation will be our monetary system or the "money power". It will provide a historical analysis of our debt-money system which dates back 300 years and offer recommendations for reform. Without such reforms we are destined to live with continual economic uncertainty, resulting in a crisis every few years. This presentation will complement those of the last two speakers at CTC, but will take a longer historical perspective and critique the underlying monetary system.

Bob Schmitz has a Masters Degree in Social Work from St. Louis University. He worked for 43 years in social welfare and the mental health field. He also has a history of political activism focused on social and economic justice and peace issues.

Breakfast Buffet $10.00 Coffee only $3.00. We need to plan for the room setup and meal, so if you are going to attend, please RSVP by filling out the form at http://www.surveymonk....

I have a lot to learn and thoughts to share, this group appears to be the right path for all that.
