Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) for David Mamet Play

Theater J is having a Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) show of Race: A Dark Comedy/Mystery on Thursday, Feb 7th at 7:30p.  PWYC means just that ... you pay whatever you can afford to see the show!

The latest work by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Glengarry Glen Ross ruthlessly examines guilt, betrayal and racial posturing. Two male lawyers are called to defend a wealthy white client charged with the rape of a black woman, while their female associate betrays an agenda of her own. In the face of unraveling evidence, the lawyers' own uncomfortable beliefs about race rise to the surface. It's a crime mystery that's both dramatic and comedic, and David Allen Grier received a Tony nomination for Best Performance by a Featured Actor during its[masked] Broadway run.

Runtime 1 hour, 35 minutes (play starts at 7:30 pm)
Written by David Mamet
Directed by John Vreeke
Featuring Crashonda Edwards, Leo Erickson, James Whalen and Michael Anthony Williams

Hi Anna! Great question others will find helpful. I will send my phone number out by email the day before the event. I do recommend people arrive a little early. The pwyc tickets are first come, first serve and generally go quickly. I say if you arrive at 6p or 6:30p, you are in good shape.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
