Let's go to dinner and see a show in DC!
If folks are interested, we can meet at the Woolly Mammoth Theater on it's Pay-What-You-Can night and pick up tickets for a theater show that night - named "." (Pay-What-You-Can means just that ... you pay in person, in cash whatever you can afford for the show on this night only!)
From there, we can walk over to a nearby restaurant for dinner from 6:15p-7:45p. Then we can walk back to Woolly Mammoth for the 8pm show.
Tickets are subject to availability.
About the show -
An aspiring young theatre director named Conrad struggles to get out from under the shadow of his mother Emma, a famous actress. Meanwhile, his young muse Nina falls for Emma’s lover Doyle, and everyone discovers just how disappointing love, art, and growing up can be. In this contemporary and irreverent riff on Chekhov’s The Seagull, Aaron Posner transforms the famous “subtext” of the classic play into exuberant scenes and songs.
