Documentary and Discussion

The Zionist Story: the history of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict

The Zionist Story, an independent film by Ronen Berelovich, is the story of ethnic cleansing, colonialism and apartheid to produce a demographically Jewish State.

Ronen successfully combines archival footage with commentary from himself and others such as Ilan Pappe, Terry Boullata, Alan Hart and Jeff Halper.

The closest thing to creative writing if i recall was the course 'Rhyme and Reason: Partial Patterns in Mathematics and Poetry' (taught by Lee Rudolph of Northeastern U ---he does both). I did study the video 'Stop Making Sense' (see youtube) about pundits (the band Talking Heads). My friends were into stuff like Jaques Derrida (sephardic deconstructionist---see (alan ) Sokal's Hoax). I guess to write to be understood I guess i'll have to reread wikipedia (Godel's ontological proof (of god)). (Or musician Thelonious Monk---'i heard you before you opened your mouth'.

All you really have to do is have someone who does not know you read your stuff before you put it out for the world to see. Ask him to tell you what you wrote. If it is what you think you wrote, then post. See you in a few months.

Ishi: you have taken too many Creative Writing courses. It's time to take a course on "writing to be understood."

Agree with Laurie; please, everyone -- just stop! This was a meet-up about a film, not an ongoing discussion of the Israel/Palestine conflict. If you want to discuss THAT,go to another site to do it. Thanks.
