We need a break -- do we not? -- from Washington's grim bureaucratic power struggles to remind ourselves from time to time what life is all about. I consider Cinthia a Florence Nightingale for organizing this service for us.
The social group worked really well. For half a dozen people, most of whom had just me, the level of involvement was surprisingly engaging. The musical itself [Spring Awakening] needed serious work before it could make it to off Broadway. But the evening as a whole, thanks to Tori's gregarious personality and her choice of venue for dinner, was a big success!
