Flamenco with the Ole Ole Troupe at the Bristol Bar

Back for a very special show in February (after a break), here is the text from our previous outings :-

Join us for (easily) the best Flamenco night in Brighton! Even though the troupe appear at the Ole Ole restaurant every weekend, the whole Ole Ole troupe including guest visiting dancers , musicians and singers appear at the Bristol Bar on the first Tuesday  of every month. Not only that, they really let their hair down!  (Last month , they even admitted that the monthly Bristol Bar eve was with out a shadow of a doubt their favourite night of the month.)

Duende (Spanish for spirit) is in copious supply from all the dancers, singers and musicians.

Entry for non-diners is free ; it used to be £3. Since the Bristol Bar add £4 to the food bill (poss per person ?)  for the evening if you book a resturant table  and the tables are not as good as the 3 tables we had in the bar area in Sept (better views than most dining tables ironically), we'll keep on going for the free option. Please feel free to book a table if you wish though. You can eat tapas (and other options ?) at the bar tables anyway.  I'm  not sure if the full tapas menu (much touted)  has been intoduced for diners yet...

Terrific to see the Ole Ole back at the Bristol, nice to have a little dance at end too, although it will so much nicer when my spine has fully healed. Glad everyone had fun, let's do it again in 2 months time, think we should book a large table for food next time! :-)

Hi everybody, look forward to seeing you at the Flamenco this eve. The best free seats are in reasonable short supply, so best to try to get there early if possible. Although you can stand at the bar. I'll have a few Crowded Pier leaflets on the table, hopefully 2 tables if enough us come along early. See you later! Clive[masked]

I have spent a lot of time in Andalucia but sadly the flamenco in Granada has become a tourist attraction and really suffered for it. Lets hope this is hard core!!
